Tuyen Quang Province and VNPT sign cooperation agreement on digital transformation for 2025–2030

On November 6, at the headquarters of the Provincial People’s Committee, Tuyen Quang Province and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation for the 2025–2030 period.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, General Director of VNPT; leaders of provincial departments, sectors, and VNPT’s affiliated units.

During the 2023–2025 period, VNPT has expanded its telecommunications and Internet infrastructure in Tuyen Quang Province, with more than 1,000 3G, 4G, and 5G base stations covering 95% of the province’s area. The group has also developed fiber optic and dedicated data transmission networks reaching 100% of communes and wards, and equipped the province with satellite communication devices to ensure smooth communication for political missions and disaster prevention. VNPT has implemented several digital government solutions, including the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System, the Document Management and Administration System, and the Personnel Management System for all government officials. It has also provided FiberVNN broadband Internet services to over 90,000 subscribers, installed security and traffic monitoring camera systems, and supported the establishment of 4.0 market models across the province. Each year, VNPT contributes more than VND 3 billion to local social welfare and disaster recovery efforts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Phan Huy Ngoc highlighted the importance of the program, expressing his hope that VNPT will continue to accompany the province by implementing advanced, infrastructure-compatible digital transformation solutions, laying the foundation for the development of e-government, digital economy, and digital society.
