Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh works with Chiem Hoa Commune Party Committee after the merger

On July 15, working delegation no. 1, led by Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, worked with the Party Committee of Chiem Hoa commune following its establishment through the merger of five administrative units.

Chiem Hoa is home to over 30,000 people with 15 ethnic groups, in which the Tay people make up 52.6% of the population. After the merger, the commune’s Party Committee was consolidated with 96 affiliated party organizations and more than 2,100 party members. The newly established government apparatus has initially operated with stability, while local officials have demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and received broad support and high expectations from the public.

However, Chiem Hoa commune continues to face several challenges, particularly in public administration, such as incomplete data updates on the shared national system, a lack of digital identity accounts and electronic signatures for officials, limited digital skills among some staff members, and outdated technological equipment, etc.

The Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh acknowledged the locality’s proactive, determined, and creative efforts in implementing the two-tier local government model. He also emphasized the need to streamline the administrative apparatus for greater effectiveness and efficiency, with a strong focus on serving the interests of the people and businesses.

He urged Chiem Hoa Commune to continue reviewing relevant documents and effectively implementing them in line with assigned functions; to strengthen public communication and closely monitor public sentiment; to adjust growth targets appropriately; and to thoroughly prepare for the 2025 - 2030 term Party Congress with high-quality, practical policy documents that can be swiftly translated into action.
