Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh meets with a delegation from China’s Pacific Construction Group
On the morning of July 28, Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received and held talks with the delegation from China’s Pacific Construction Group, led by Mr. Yan Jiehe - Founder of Pacific Construction Group and To Shang Group, and Chairman of the Yan Jiehe Research Institute, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang Province.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh welcomed the Pacific Construction Group on their visit to explore and survey potential investment sites in Tuyen Quang. During the meeting, the Secretary provided an overview of the province’s geographical location, cultural identity, development potential, strengths, and investment policies. Pacific Construction Group is the first foreign enterprise to visit the province after the recent administrative merger.
Currently, Tuyen Quang province has prioritized development in several key areas, such as enhancing regional connectivity, developing infrastructure for new urban areas and industrial parks, promoting the tourism economy, and expanding the border gate economy. With the Politburo’s Resolution on promoting private economic development as a guiding framework, the province firmly commits to supporting both domestic and foreign investors.

At the meeting, Mr. Yan Jiehe expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm and respectful welcome extended by the leaders of Tuyen Quang province. He shared that the Pacific Construction Group, established in 1986, has ranked among the world’s Top 500 largest enterprises for 12 consecutive years and has maintained its position as the largest private enterprise globally in the field of engineering and construction. With its strong resources and extensive experience, Pacific Construction Group is well-positioned to explore investment opportunities and support Tuyen Quang in the construction sector. Through this working session, the Group expressed its desire to connect with relevant provincial agencies to coordinate research and surveys on potential construction projects in the locality, as well as to consider establishing a representative office in Tuyen Quang.
Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh thanked Mr. Yan Jiehe for his valuable insights and experience in development planning. He affirmed that Tuyen Quang always welcomes and creates favourable conditions for foreign enterprises in investment cooperation. He also assigned the Department of Finance as the focal point for coordination, communication, and facilitation of investment opportunities with Pacific Construction Group.
