In 2025, Bac Me District provided housing support for 15 families of revolutionary contributors with a total budget of 540 million VND. To date, 100% of the houses have been completed on schedule and meet the required quality standards. Among the beneficiaries, two families celebrated the inauguration of their new homes during this event: Mai Trung Lien, a grade 4/4 wounded soldier from Na Han Hamlet, Yen Dinh Commune, and Nong Tran Tien, a grade 3/4 wounded soldier from Na Cau Hamlet, Minh Ngoc Commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh commended the determined efforts of the party committee and local authorities of Bac Me District, the communes of Yen Dinh and Minh Ngoc, as well as the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other political and social organisations. He especially praised the solidarity and support shown by local communities, which helped provide dignified and clean housing for the wounded soldiers.

The secretary emphasised that building and renovating homes for those who contributed to the revolution is not only an expression of the Vietnamese tradition of “When drinking water, remembering the source” but also a meaningful contribution to the local “Gratitude” movement.

On this occasion, he paid warm visits to the families, presenting them with gifts, the national flag, and a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh. He extended his best wishes to the wounded veterans, expressing his hope that they would continue to live happily and healthily, serving as shining examples for younger generations of revolutionary tradition and the noble qualities of “Uncle Ho's soldiers”.

To date, the province has completed housing support for 100% of families of revolutionary contributors. In the coming period, it will continue to effectively implement the three national target programmes, with a particular focus on housing support to help improve living standards in disadvantaged areas.
