National conference discusses implementation of Party resolution
The Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat convened a national conference in Hanoi on April 16 to disseminate and discuss the implementation of the Resolution adopted by the freshly concluded 11th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The hybrid event linked over 21,000 locations nationwide, including municipal and provincial Party Committees, ministries, agencies, and grassroots-level units at the district and commune levels.
Live broadcast on Vietnam Television (VTV) and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) channels, the conference engaged more than 1.5 million officials, Party members, and civil servants from 63 cities and provinces nationwide. Party General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered a keynote speech at the event from the Hanoi venue, which also saw the presence of Politburo members, including State President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, former Politburo members and former NA chairpersons.

Prime Minister Chinh presented draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress, including new insights from a 40-year review of Vietnam’s socialist-oriented renewal process, new points in the draft report on Party building and enforcement of the Party’s Charter, the draft political report and the five-year review of the 2021-2030 socio-economic development strategy, along with strategic directions and tasks for 2026-2030 socio-economic development.
Politburo member and NA Chairman Man outlined proposed amendments to the Constitution and laws, as well as plans for the elections of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure.
Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and head of its Organisation Commission Le Minh Hung reported on efforts to further streamline the Party and State organisational apparatus for greater efficiency and effectiveness, revisions to regulations on Party Charter enforcement, and updates to the Politburo’s directive and conclusion regarding preparations for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025–2030 tenure.
Other Party and State leaders are set to elaborate on the focal points of the 11th plenum’s documents, which will serve as a reference for Party committees, organisations, ministries, agencies and local authorities to continue to disseminate and effectively realise the Resolution.
