Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh receives Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang Province

At the meeting on the afternoon of March 4, Most Venerable Thich Nguyen Toan informed about the main features of the formation and development of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang Province.

At the same time, he hoped to continue receiving support from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and departments and branches to help the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang Province continue to develop.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh was pleased that the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ha Giang Province visited and shared information about the VBS.

He highly appreciated the positive contributions of the VBS to building the great national unity bloc; making a significant contribution to the cause of building and developing the country and the province, connecting religion and life. The VBS has had many practical and meaningful activities, together with local Party committees and authorities, contributing to the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction, ensuring social security.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasised that people's happiness is what the Party and State aim for. He hoped that the VBS would continue to promote its role and experience, strengthen coordination with agencies and units in the area, and bring good values ​​to the people while promoting economic and social development, bringing happiness to the people in the era of national development.

He requested relevant agencies to continue researching and have the appropriate development policies for religions in general in the area, build a good society and promote endogenous strength for development.
