Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh visits Provincial General Hospital

BHG - On the morning of February 26, Hau A Lenh, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Secretary visited and extended congratulations to leaders, doctors and nurses of the Provincial General Hospital and presented gifts to patients being treated there on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27).

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh presented flower baskets from the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to doctors at the Provincial General Hospital on February 27.

The Provincial General Hospital has 715 beds. Over the years, the hospital has continuously improved the quality of medical examinations and treatment. In 2024, the hospital provided health examinations to more than 243,000 people and the number of inpatients was nearly 72,000.

Notably in 2024, the hospital approved ten additional technical categories and applied 28 new techniques in many different specialties.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Party, Hau A Lenh congratulated and applauded the medical workers, doctors and nurses of the Provincial General Hospital for their great efforts in protecting the people's health.

Sharing the difficulties in the physical facilities and staff of the provincial health sector in general and the hospital in particular, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee to comprehensively assess the current situation of the health sector, clearly pointing out the difficulties and thus working out solutions. The assessment should be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee for inclusion in the provincial Party Congress Resolution.

In the coming term, the province will mobilise and integrate many resources to solve the difficulties of improving healthcare quality.

With the current condition of facilities and human resources, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that the health sector in general and the Provincial General Hospital will soon make further efforts to protect people’s health.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh presented gifts to patients at the hospital and awarded flower baskets from the Prime Minister, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the Ha Giang provincial health sector.
