Provincial People's Committee Chairman visits workers of Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project

BHG - On the morning of January 29, the first day of the Lunar New Year, Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to workers of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project who are on duty during Tet.

He was accompanied by leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Bac Quang District, and the Provincial Management Board of the Construction Investment Project.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to workers of Package No. 04 of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project, phase 1 — which runs through Quang Minh Commune, Bac Quang District, in Ha Giang Province — who are working on duty during Tet.

This package has a total length of 6.62km, constructed by a consortium including Phuong Dong Development Investment JSC, TAG Vietnam Group, and 168 Vietnam Group.

To date, the package has completed 50% of the workload, including the system of box culverts, round culverts, and civil tunnels; 4 out of 6 bridges on the route; and 4 out of 6.62km of roadbed. The unit has gathered materials for road foundation construction. At the construction site, the contractor is gathering more than 20 machines and other equipment to speed up the construction progress after the Tet holiday, striving to complete 100% of the workload by the end of 2025.

During the visit, Phan Huy Ngoc, Chairman of the Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee, praised the team of workers of Phuong Dong Company who participated in the Tet duty for the common benefit, with the highest spirit of readiness for construction activities right after Tet.

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, he extended his best wishes the workers and their families good health, peace, and happiness. He emphasised that this is a national key traffic project of great significance to the province. He also expressed his hope that that right after the Tet holiday, the construction contractor and the workers will be highly determined and make great efforts to complete package 04 ahead of schedule, as directed by the Government and the Provincial People's Committee.
