Joining in the joy of welcoming the New Year of the Snake 2025, celebrating the renewal of the country and homeland, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Government of Ha Giang Province, I would like to send my best wishes to all the people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang Province, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, and distinguished guests at home and abroad. Wishing everyone a happy, prosperous and successful New Year!

In 2024, in the context of many natural disasters, difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, the Government and the people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang Province continued to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, and consensus, striving to successfully complete the set goals and tasks with many outstanding results. The economy continued to recover and grow positively while national defence, security, order, and social safety were maintained and stabilised, and crime was controlled and reduced. The organisation of provincial defence area drills ensured safety and achieved excellent results. The programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ha Giang Province was actively, urgently, and effectively implemented, ensuring social security, gratitude, and taking care of people’s health. Timely overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, especially storm No.3 (Yagi), quickly stabilises production and housing for people. Foreign affairs activities were expanded, actively promoting the image and position of the province to domestic and international friends. The achievements and results of the past year are important milestones and foundations for Ha Giang to continue moving forward and develop comprehensively, quickly and sustainably.

The new year 2025 is a particularly important year, deciding the results of implementing the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025 tenure. At the same time, it is the year to focus on organising Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and creating and perfecting the fundamental factors, building momentum to promote economic and social growth and development in the 2026-2030 period. The remaining tasks in the final year of the term are not small, besides opportunities and advantages, there are many challenges and difficulties. On behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Government, I would like to call on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in Ha Giang Province to continue to unite, promote advantages, seize opportunities, act decisively, with higher determination, make greater efforts, strive to achieve early the targets and objectives of the plan, build Ha Giang province to develop rapidly and sustainably, contributing to building a strong, prosperous and happy country.
