Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Phan Huy Ngoc inspects the progress of key projects in Ha Giang

BHG - On January 14, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Phan Huy Ngoc, inspected the actual progress of several investment projects in the province, including the Dam to create a landscape in the centre of Ha Giang City, the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex, and the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project.

According to the investor’s report, the Dam to create a landscape in the centre of Ha Giang City has a total investment of over 330 billion VND sourced from the central and local budgets. Up to now, many items have been completed. The accumulated disbursed capital to date is 202.5/217.5 billion VND, reaching 92% of the assigned plan.

For the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex project, the total investment is over 342.9 billion VND. Up to now, compensation and site clearance work has been completed. The total project completion volume is estimated at 85%. The disbursement result of the capital plan is 250.1/257.7 billion VND, reaching 97.1% of the capital allocated by the end of 2024.

For the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project, according to the investor’s report, up to now, the site clearance work on the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway has handed over nearly 27 km, with a scale of 4 lanes, reaching 97%. Payments have been made to households, individuals, and organisations with land and assets on the land, that must be recovered for site clearance, totalling over 500 billion VND. The construction progress meets the scope of the handed-over site and the value of the construction volume up to the reporting time is over 1 trillion VND, reaching 46% of the contract value.

After checking and working with relevant units, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Huy Ngoc emphasised that the Dam to create a landscape in the centre of Ha Giang City and the Provincial Sports and Cultural Complex are identified as projects to welcome the 18th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 – 2030 tenure. Therefore, the investor and the construction unit must build a time, and a weekly progress chart, commit to implementation, and report to the Provincial People’s Committee for guidance, to urgently settle the completed volume. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested departments, branches, and investors to coordinate to review the actual volume. Relevant units must closely follow the site daily to urge and supervise to ensure the progress and quality of the project, safe construction and complete all procedures and documents according to regulations.
