Ha Giang has new Chairman of Provincial People's Committee

BHG - The 18th Ha Giang Provincial People's Council held its 21st session (specialised) to address personnel matters and review and approve the draft resolutions of the Provincial People's Council.

The session was attended by the Nguyen Manh Dung, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police; and Hoang Gia Long, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the session, the delegates listened a proposal by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Thao Hong Son, to introduce personnel for the election of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure. Under the proposal, Colonel Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, was nominated to the new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

A secret ballot was conducted and 100% of 47 participating delegates agreed to elect Colonel Phan Huy Ngoc as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung and other provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate newly-elected Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee Phan Huy Ngoc.

In his acceptance speech, newly-elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc gave sincere thanks to the attention and trust of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the delegates of the Provincial People's Council. He affirmed that being elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is both an honour and a great responsibility.

Chairman Phan Huy Ngoc pledged to inherit the achievements and experiences of previous leadership generations, continuously learn and improve his skills, and make efforts to fulfill his assigned duties and responsibilities to the best of his ability. He committed to dedicating his full capacity, knowledge, passion, intellect, and responsibility to work together with the leadership team and members of the Provincial People's Committee to contribute wholeheartedly to the development of Ha Giang.
