Acting Secretary of Provincial Party Committee attends conference on socio-economic development and state budget plan for 2025
BHG - A conference was held by Ha Giang Provincial People’s Committee on December 17 to discuss the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for 2025.
Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung attended and delivered a keynote address. The event was chaired by Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Gia Long; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha; and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Thi Minh Hanh.

Based on the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Provincial People's Council regarding the tasks of socio-economic development and state budget estimates for 2025, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a decision assigning 36 socio-economic development and budget targets to departments, agencies, and localities. Key targets for 2025 include economic growth rate of 8%, GDP per capita reaching 45 million VND, local budget revenue reaching 3.413 trillion VND, attracting 3.5 million tourist arrivals, industrial production index increasing by 15%, and total import-export value reaching 500 million USD. To achieve these objectives, the Provincial People's Committee identified 10 key tasks and solutions.
In his address, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Dung emphasised the need for the entire political system to act with greater determination and creativity to exceed the results of 2024. He called for intensified disbursement of public investment funds and acceleration of key projects and national target programmes, while ensuring the quality of projects from the outset of the year. Additionally, he urged robust administrative reforms, enhancement of the province's competitiveness, improvement of the investment environment, and prioritisation of digital transformation as a core and continuous task.
