Asia’s leading green resort

Panhou Retreat in Lang Giang village, Thong Nguyen commune, has become Tuyen Quang’s first eco-resort to be honored by the World Travel Awards as “Asia’s Leading Green Resort 2025.”

The resort is built entirely with eco-friendly materials such as bamboo, rattan, wood, and stone, while maximizing natural light and ventilation to create a serene environment immersed in the forest. Single-use plastics are eliminated, replaced with glass bottles and recycled materials, and solar energy and sensor lights are used to reduce electricity consumption.

In daily operations, Panhou strictly applies the 3R philosophy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Visitors not only enjoy comfortable accommodations but also engage in sustainable experiences such as wood carving, painting on do paper, tea tasting, herbal leaf baths, and walking or cycling through the village.
