BHG - The Meo Vac Market is held every Sunday morning and is considered the largest in the Dong Van Stone Plateau. Not counting the small traders who specialise in “running the market”, the end of the year is often when people from all over come to sell. Items regularly made by locals and brought to the market to sell, such as goats, piglets, vegetables, dried bamboo shoots, fresh ginger, rice, dong leaves or fragrant corn wine cans, are also sold more than usual.
The Tet market seems very cosy because life here is getting better and better, signaling the arrival of a new spring. The ethnic minorities here welcome a warm and happy Tet.
