To complete the goal of 100 percent of border villages having electricity infrastructure and rural roads meeting the criteria for new-style rural areas, the district needs to invest in upgrading the power line system and building five new power projects and hardening about 50 kilometres of rural roads.

To achieve the above goal, since 2021, Yen Minh District has approved the investment policy and supported concrete roads, and invested in electricity projects for villages without electricity grid.

Up to now, 15 out of 15 border villages of Yen Minh have seeninvestement in national grid infrastructure, meeting the criteria for new-style rural areas. It is expected that by the end of 2024, 11 out of 15 border villages will have rural roads meeting the criteria for new-style rural areas, reaching 73.33%.

The district will strive to complete the goal in 2025 according to the province's direction, helping border residents improve their material and spiritual lives, develop their economy with peace of mind, and contribute to firmly protecting the country's borders.
