Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway project enters final stage

At the construction site of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway these days, the working atmosphere is more urgent and vibrant than ever.

Contractors have mobilized maximum manpower and machinery, organizing continuous three-shift operations with determination to complete the project on schedule within the next 50 days. Despite unpredictable weather, complex terrain, and limited material supplies, with the spirit of “overcoming difficulties – reaching the finish line,” engineers and workers remain on site day and night. Many units have proactively opened additional construction fronts, increased transport vehicles, and applied new technologies to shorten construction time and improve quality.

The Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway Project (Phase I) has a total investment of about VND13.8 trillion, divided into 10 construction packages, including eight roadwork packages, one bridge package, and one lighting system package. Major contractors such as Deo Ca Group, Son Hai Group Joint Stock Company, and Truong Son Construction Corporation are undertaking key project components. Currently, nearly 200 construction sites are maintained, mobilizing about 1,400 pieces of machinery and 1,612 engineers and workers working continuously day and night.

According to the directive of the Prime Minister, the entire project must be completed before December 19, 2025. To achieve this goal, contractors are striving to exceed progress targets for each item, increasing work shifts and equipment, and focusing maximum resources on critical points. Every meter of completed road is further proof of the responsibility and determination of road builders, contributing to opening a new development space for the northern mountainous region.

The barbed wire fence item has also been implemented ahead of schedule.

The most difficult sections involving shale rock are being worked on day and night by the contractors.

Machinery has been mobilized by contractors to carry out Package No. 20 of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway.

Workers are pouring concrete panels.

Supervision consultants are inspecting items to ensure quality.

O Ro Bridge, the most complex structure in terms of terrain along the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway, is being prepared for beam installation.

Cuong Thinh Thi Group Company is accelerating the completion of K98 for pavement laying.

At Package No. 20, contractors have spread a layer of crushed stone in preparation for the cement-reinforced layer.

Truong Son Construction Corporation is executing the concrete layer at Package No. 19 of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway Project.

Hiep Phu Co., Ltd. has completed the first asphalt layer at Package No. 21 of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang Expressway.

Trang Tam
