The Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway section in Ha Giang Province is being rapidly constructed to ensure it meets the scheduled timeline. |
The adjustment aims to upgrade the expressway classification from Class 80, with a design speed of 80km/h, to Class 100, with a design speed of 100km/h. Certain sections running through challenging terrain will be designed for 80km/h speeds. The expressway will be fully constructed with four lanes.
The total investment for the project exceeds 5 trillion VND, including more than 4 trillion VND from the central government budget and nearly VND 1 trillion from the local budget. To date, over VND 1.8 trillion has already been allocated.
The revised investment policy aims to ensure design consistency throughout the entire Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway, in alignment with the national road network planning approved by the Prime Minister.
The of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway section (the first phase) running through Ha Giang Province spans over 27 kilometres. It is divided into three construction packages. Land clearance has been completed, and contractors are mobilising manpower and machinery, operating in three shifts across four crews, to complete the project on schedule.
