Ha Giang police return belongings to foreign tourist
BHG - The Ha Giang Traffic Police Department has just completed procedures to return lost belongings to a Lithuanian female tourist travelling in the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
Previously, at approximately 2 pm on April 5, while on patrol at the Ma Pi Leng Pass area, Ha Giang police found a black leather wallet containing 1 ID card, 1 driving licence, 3 bank cards and 560 EUR.

All the documents bore the name Zukiene, female, born on August 25, 1995, of Lithuanian nationality. Subsequently, the police contacted the tourist and returned all her lost belongings.
It is learned that Zukiene dropped her wallet from Meo Vac to Dong Van during the trip with her husband to Ha Giang. However, she only discovered the loss after travelling to Ninh Binh.
Upon receiving her belongings, Zukiene and her husband were moved and expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by the Ha Giang police.
The commendable action of the Ha Giang traffic police has left a positive impression on foreign tourists, thereby contributing to building the image of Ha Giang as a friendly and hospitable destination.
