BHG - Despite not being a traditional dish of Ha Giang Province, Pho Mai Son Ha Giang Restaurant, located on August 20 Street, Phuong Do Commune (Ha Giang City), has included ‘Pho Bat Da’ (noodle soup served in a stone bowl) on the breakfast menu for many years. It has quickly become a favourite breakfast choice among locals and tourists alike.
Unlike traditional ‘pho’, when served, the restaurant brings out a stone bowl with boiling broth, steaming intensely, along with a plate of fresh beef, eggs, pho noodles, and various aromatic herbs. Here, diners can witness the freshness of the meat and vegetables before adding them to the bowl. To enjoy the dish, guests can freely choose the order in which they add the ingredients and wait a moment for them to cook before savouring their meal.
