Ha Giang among 12 localities rated 'Good' in online public service quality
BHG - According to a report of the Government’s Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and Project 06 in April 2025, the rate of fully online public services out of the total number of administrative procedures reached 50.4%, an increase of 1.25% compared to March 2025.

According to the implementation results of the “Project on developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation for the 2022–2025 period, vision to 2030”, 12 localities were rated 'Good' in April 2025: Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen, Ca Mau, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Hung Yen, Quang Ngai, Thanh Hoa, An Giang, Quang Binh, Can Tho, and Dong Nai. Meanwhile, 42 provinces and cities received a 'Fair' rating and 9 localities were rated 'Average'.
Through monitoring by the Government Office, in April, the rate of online processing increased for 12 essential public services, while three saw a decrease compared to March 2025. Among the essential public services with high online processing rates and strong public engagement were birth registration procedures, which reached 84.35%, up by 0.47% compared to March 2025; and death registration procedures, which reached 86.81%, up by 0.95% from the previous month.
Recently, two interconnected administrative procedures have continued to gain public support, namely, birth registration, permanent residence registration, and issuance of health insurance cards for children under six years old; and death registration, cancellation of permanent residence, and settlement of burial and death benefits. So far, 774,349 birth registration applications have been submitted, up more than 80,000 compared to March 2025; and 224,357 death registration applications have been received, an increase of more than 30,000 from March 2025.
In Ha Giang, the Provincial Steering Committee on the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and Project 06 continues to intensify comprehensive administrative procedure reform to best serve the legitimate needs of organisations and citizens. This contributes to building the digital government, digital citizenship, and digital society, supporting state management as well as interactions of organisations and individuals.
