The MySign service began to be integrated on VNeID on March 27 and is available to all citizens with level-2 identification accounts.
The digital signatures can be used for marriage certificates, birth certificates, passports, vehicles registration, and temporary residence registration, and are free of charge for use on the National Public Service Portal for 12 months.
MySign is a digital signature certification service developed by Viettel Telecom, allowing users to sign documents with their smartphones at any time.
The service meets the EU’s eIDAS electronic identification regulation as well as regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has equal validity as traditional signatures.
The service has many benefits, including saving time, reducing efforts and costs, quick signing, and storage integrity and information security for signed documents.
Viettel’s programme will help popularise digital signatures for people, promote digital transformation and realise the government’s resolution on breakthrough development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
To create a MySign digital signature, a user must first log into their VNeID app, then select Viettel MySign as the service provider after tapping digital signature registration. The user will then download the MySign app and register an account.
