More than 71% of social security beneficiaries receive payments via accounts

BHG - As of November 2024, Ha Giang Province has more than 53,200 social security beneficiaries, of whom nearly 40,000 have been granted accounts, reaching a rate of more than 71%, an increase of 2.1% compared to October 2024. 100% of the beneficiaries have received payments via accounts.

Following the Provincial People's Committee’s Decision 592 (dated May 8, 2024) on approving the plan for non-cash payment of social security policies in the province, a total of 37,936 beneficiaries have received payments via accounts in the November 2024 payment period, reaching 71.3%, an increase of 7.3% compared to October 2024.

The total payments transferred through accounts reached nearly 29 billion VND.

According to experts, the implementation of the non-cash social security policy payment plan in the province in recent years has received attention and participation from sectors at all levels and the support of the people, thus ensuring promptness, accuracy, publicity, and transparency, while contributing to the effective implementation of digital transformation and Project 06 as well as improving the ability to access modern payment services.
