Standardising over 677,000 electronic health records
BHG - Implementing Decision No.1332, dated May 21, 2024, of the Ministry of Health on the issuance of Electronic Health Record (EHR) for integration on the VNeID application, to date, the whole province has standardised 677,503 records, reaching 73.78%.

EHR on the VNeID application are used for all public and private medical examination and treatment facilities, including outpatient, inpatient, and remote medical examinations. Data is integrated from the National Database on Health Insurance. Medical facilities can receive medical examination and treatment using one of the following identification numbers: Citizen ID card, personal identification number, and health insurance card number. At the same time, the Electronic Health Record provides complete health information, helping people to know and self-manage their health information continuously and for life, enhancing the connection between medical facilities, and doctors can easily access patient health information.
Actively deploying the Electronic Health Record platform on VNeID, the Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Health to coordinate with the military-run telecommunications company Viettel Group to develop implementation solutions; organise training for leaders and officers directly responsible for managing and using the platform and coordinate to supplement and develop technical solutions, ensuring people’s health data is “correct - sufficient - clean – alive”. Deploying the Electronic Health Record on VNeID creates a breakthrough in health care, serving the people. In the coming time, the Department of Health will continue coordinating with the Provincial Police and the Provincial Social Insurance to promote data cleaning deploy tasks in each phase, ensuring infrastructure, safety and information security.
