Ha Giang makes breakthroughs in administrative reform
BHG - Administrative reform in Ha Giang Province, especially administrative procedure reform, has recorded many important results, with several indices rising strongly on the rankings of 63 provinces and cities.
The province has taken bold measures to implement six important contents related to administrative reform: institutional reform, administrative procedures, organisation of the state administrative apparatus, public servant regime, public finance, and development of electronic and digital government.

Since the start of the year, 1,867 valid administrative procedures have been applied in the province, including 267 simplified procedures, which reduced processing time by 30%, 1,746 procedures that were processed under the single-window mechanism, and 555 procedures that were processed under the inter-agency mechanism.
The provincial People’s Committee devolved the handling of 35 administrative procedures under its jurisdiction to the lower levels.
Along with these results, the province introduced mechanisms and policies to fine-tune the legal environment and promote comprehensive digital transformation.
Currently, the province has 239 dedicated data transmission network points in Party and State agencies, meeting the requirements for connecting and holding online conferences from the central to the commune levels.
Ha Giang has recorded high results in many administrative reform criteria aligned with digital transformation. Notably, 97.9% of administrative procedure dossiers were handled on time and ahead of schedule, 81.4% of public services were delivered online, 89.5% of online payment services were implemented, and 97.7% of citizens were satisfied with public service delivery.
To measure the performance of the government apparatus by the satisfaction of people and enterprises, administrative reform has become a key task of Ha Giang Province, creating the motivation to enhance the government's performance and serve the people and businesses better.
