According to Pham Anh Van, Director of the Ha Giang Provincial General Hospital, in implementing Project 06, the hospital has thoroughly disseminated the contents and tasks of the project to each cadre, medical staff, and employee, in order to raise awareness of the need to develop applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve the digital transformation work, especially the application of digital transformation in management and medical examination and treatment for people.
Currently, the provincial general hospital has applied digital transformation in all areas such as: receiving medical examination and treatment for people using citizen identification cards with chips through the VNeID application to replace health insurance cards, reaching nearly 90%; coordinating with the Social Insurance, the Department of Transport, and related units to guide people when coming to see a doctor to use CCCD cards with chips instead of health insurance cards; and updating data connectivity relating to driver's health certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates. In medical examination and treatment, patient test results are currently managed on testing software, receiving and returning test results automatically. Additionally, the hospital implements many cashless payment solutions. Every week, the hospital organises two thematic consultation sessions with central hospitals on difficult cases to assess the complexity of the case and propose active treatment methods for patients.
