Children in the highlands of Tuyen Quang

Without modern playgrounds or bustling summer amusement parks, the childhood of H’mong children in the highlands of Tuyen Quang still shines brightly against the backdrop of majestic nature. These children innocently follow their parents to the fields, gather to play traditional games like jacks, spinning tops, or run freely along the mountain slopes.

Many of them also actively participate in local cultural activities such as dancing with the khen (bamboo pipe), playing flutes, plucking dan moi (jaw harp), and even becoming “child models” for tourists.

Though simple, their childhood is vibrant with cultural colors, adding a unique touch to the highland region of Tuyen Quang.
