Ha Giang City on the list of most hospitable cities in Vietnam in 2025

According to Booking.com, Hoi An (Quang Nam), Ninh Binh, Ha Giang , Phong Nha (Quang Binh), Con Dao (Ba Ria-Vung Tau), Cao Bang, Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Cat Ba (Hai Phong), Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Ha Long (Quang Ninh) are the most hospitable cities in Vietnam in 2025.

Based on over 360 million authentic reviews from global travelers, the Traveller Review Awards recognize and honor partners who consistently maintain excellent service quality and contribute to elevating the travel experience. In 2025, 13,003 accommodation partners in Vietnam were honored through this award for their hospitality and service that exceeds expectations.

To be eligible for the ranking, each destination must have a minimum of 50 eligible accommodation establishments. The ranking is calculated based on the ratio of the winning establishments to the total number of accommodation establishments in the locality. While for the regional scale, each region must have a minimum of 200 eligible accommodation establishments. The ranking is determined based on the percentage of the winning establishments compared to the total number of establishments in the region.

This year’s results show that Hoi An leads the ranking of the most hospitable cities in Vietnam. Following are Ninh Binh, Ha Giang, Phong Nha (Quang Binh), Con Dao (Ba Ria-Vung Tau), Cao Bang, Phu Quoc (Kien Giang), Cat Ba (Hai Phong), Sa Pa (Lao Cai) and Ha Long (Quang Ninh).

In addition to the list of hospitable cities, Booking.com also announced the Top 5 most hospitable regions in Vietnam in 2025. The regions honored this year reflect the geographical diversity and cultural depth of Vietnam's tourism.

Kien Giang tops the list with its pristine beaches, lush rainforests and peaceful resort atmosphere.

Ninh Binh ranked second; Quang Nam held third. The remaining two positions were Ha Giang and Lao Cai.
