The installation is located at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, drawing inspiration from the five-headed Naga statue at Duong Long Champa Tower in Tay Son District.

In the Champa culture, Naga is a mythological spirit symbolising prosperity, protection of water sources, and guardianship of temple towers.

With its unique form and distinctively large hood, the Naga installation demonstrates cultural interchange and reflects Binh Dinh’s expanding relationships with various cultures.

Standing 7.5 metres tall, the Duong Long Tower complex serves as the main backdrop, while the 5-metre-tall five-headed Naga is positioned at the centre in front of the tower complex.

Additionally, there is a secondary spirit figure facing the sea, featuring a modern design with two clasped hands, symbolising Binh Dinh’s unity and determination in the new era.

A floral display garden, measuring 120 metres in length and 40 metres in width, is adorned with over 40,000 flowerpots comprising 30 different varieties.

Impressive scenes including plum and peach blossom trees and the “Happy New Year” lettering are arranged at the main entrance. Furthermore, the welcome gate area is decorated with vibrant depictions of marine resources and distinctive products from Binh Dinh’s mountainous regions.

Several striking displays, such as a carp ascending to heaven and playful cartoon-style snake designs, are distributed throughout the exhibition area, creating an interesting and novel experience for visitors.
