Located in the middle of the majestic Dong Van Stone Plateau, Nam Dam village (Quan Ba commune) is becoming a bright spot for community tourism thanks to its effective exploitation of the traditional cultural identity of the Dao people.

With 100% of the population being Dao people, the people here have chosen "preserving culture to do tourism, doing tourism to preserve culture" as a guideline for sustainable development.

Households maintain wearing traditional costumes, organizing experiential activities such as the ordination ceremony, folk song performances, herbal baths, and traditional fishing festivals, etc.,  contributing to creating a unique attraction for the village.

Currently, the village has 34 households providing homestay services, bringing in revenue of more than 2.5 billion VND in just the first 6 months of 2025.

Thanks to support from the government and the spirit of learning, people have learned how to promote tourism through social networks, improve service quality and build the image of a friendly and safe destination. These efforts have helped Nam Dam receive the title of "Accommodation with rooms for tourists to rent meeting ASEAN standards" (2017) and the ASEAN Community Tourism Award (2023).
