Tuyen Quang province has prioritized job creation as a key solution for improving livelihoods and achieving sustainable poverty reduction. Efforts focus on generating local employment through support for production, livestock, and service models, as well as promoting tourism linked to traditional festivals and local attractions.

The Provincial Employment Service Center coordinates with units and businesses to provide career counseling and guidance for students and workers in the province.

Alongside local employment, the province strengthens labor market connections by organizing job fairs and providing access to recruitment information. Many workers have found employment in industrial zones within and outside the province. Vocational training aligned with market needs and overseas labor programs further enhance income and skill development opportunities.

Hoang Thi Thuy from Kim Phu Commune secured a garment factory job in Long Binh An Industrial Park, earning over VND7 million per month and reinvesting in pig farming.

Chang Mi Tua in Can Ty Commune found work with Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, earning over VND20 million per month, supporting his family and children’s education. Mong ethnic worker Thao A Sen from Da Vi Commune has worked in Japan for two years, sending home nearly VND30 million monthly, enabling his family to invest in local production and gradually escape poverty.

According to the Department of Home Affairs, in the first 10 months of 2025, Tuyen Quang created jobs for 39,627 workers, reaching 94.4% of the annual target. Of these, 19,500 worked locally, 18,865 in industrial zones outside the province, and 1,262 abroad under contracts.

Nguyen Duc Chinh, Director of the Provincial Employment Service Center, said the center will continue organizing job fairs across remote and ethnic minority communes, including online job exchanges, to maximize employment opportunities.

These measures have significantly increased incomes, reduced poverty, and strengthened public trust in government policies. By 2025, the province aims to create 42,000 new jobs, while the 2025–2030 plan targets a 3–4% annual reduction in national poverty rates, laying a strong foundation for inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development.
