According to the Department of Home Affairs, over 29,400 new jobs were created in the first half of 2025, accounting for more than 70% of the annual target.
Relevant sectors, functional agencies, and local authorities have coordinated closely to assess the needs of the labor force and organize job transaction sessions to connect workers with businesses both inside and outside the province.
Reforms in job counseling and placement through in-person, online, and virtual job fairs have helped improve efficiency and better match workers with suitable employment opportunities.
In addition, vocational education institutions in the province are placing greater emphasis on improving training quality to meet the demands of employers and align with societal needs. Many in-demand occupations with high employment rates have expanded enrollment, and training institutions are also committed to linking training with career counseling and job placement.
The province has set a target to create 42,000 new jobs in 2025. This is a key goal to increase the employment rate, raise income levels, promote socio-economic development, and fulfill the Party and State’s objectives in the field of labor and employment.
