Tuyen Quang is entering the final sprint to achieve its goal of eliminating all 15,800 temporary and dilapidated houses across the province by August 31, 2025. Adopting a people-centered approach, the province is mobilizing the coordinated efforts of the entire political system, leveraging community strength, flexibly allocating resources, and encouraging residents to take an active role in building safe and stable homes.

The program not only provides stable housing for local people but also serves as a driving force for economic development.

However, the implementation process still faces various challenges, including difficult terrain, rising material costs, and cases where households lack legal land use rights or matching resources. Currently, 2,360 houses are under construction in 67 communes.

To ensure the project meets its deadline, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee has launched a month-long peak campaign from August 1 to 31, based on the “six clarities” principle: clarity in personnel, tasks, authority, responsibility, timeline, and outcomes. Relevant departments, local authorities, and armed forces have been assigned specific responsibilities to provide manpower, financial support, and daily monitoring of construction progress.

The province has also proposed additional funding from central government agencies and continues to call on businesses and charitable organizations to join hands. With strong political determination, methodical implementation, and broad public consensus, Tuyen Quang is striving toward the finish line - not only with solid homes, but with a steadfast commitment to the principle of “no one left behind.”
