Spreading the love for the homeland and the nation

These days, the entire nation is joyfully celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) – a historic milestone affirming the strength of unity and the Vietnamese people’s aspiration for independence, freedom, and happiness.

Across many streets, Party and national flags are flying high. In Hanoi – the heart of the country – images of people wearing red shirts with yellow stars, taking photos at Hoan Kiem Lake and Ba Dinh Square, radiate national pride. At Lung Cu in the northernmost tip of the country, or at Tan Trao – the Capital of the Liberation Zone and the Capital of the Resistance – streams of visitors pay tribute, once again affirming the enduring vitality of patriotism.

The vibrant atmosphere is also reflected in major events: parade rehearsals for National Day, political-artistic programs, and national concerts. Each event, each ceremony, is not only about sound and light but also a symphony of faith and the aspirations of Vietnam.

Especially on the first day of the new school year, love for the homeland shines bright among the young generation. From the lowlands to the highlands, the national anthem resounds majestically under the red flag with the yellow star. Students’ eyes sparkle during flag-raising ceremonies, in teachers’ words of encouragement, and in stories about the nation’s history. From these familiar schoolyards, children are nurtured with pride and a sense of responsibility for the country.
