The family of Mr. Ma Van Vinh, in Noong Cuong hamlet, Minh Quang commune, received support to build a new home. |
When the program to eradicate temporary and dilapidated houses was launched, Minh Quang’s Party committees and authorities quickly conducted surveys and prioritized support lists for people with meritorious service, recognizing the effort as a meaningful way to repay those who had sacrificed and contributed to the country.
Thanks to active participation from agencies, organizations, and generous donors, from 2024 to date, the commune has helped repair 32 houses and build 2 new houses for people with meritorious service and relatives of martyrs, making it the province’s top performer.
Pham Cao Ky, Vice Chairman of Minh Quang Commune People’s Committee, shared: “As we rolled out the campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, we carefully reviewed every struggling policy beneficiary household and mobilized all possible resources to help. These new homes are not only shelters from the sun and rain but also add faith and motivation for families to stabilize and move forward in life.”
Tuyen Quang province is striving to complete its program to eliminate temporary housing for people with meritorious service by July 27, 2025 - a milestone of deep significance on the occasion of the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs Day. With these impressive results, Minh Quang not only leads in numbers but also embodies a profound spirit of gratitude.
