Work commences on expansion of Quan Ba District General Hospital

BHG - On February 11, the authorities of Quan Ba District, in coordination with the Ha Giang Provincial Health Department and Deo Ca Group, held a ceremony to commence the construction of a medical examination and treatment facility at the Quan Ba District General Hospital and launch the Tree Planting Festival.

Leaders of Quan Ba District, the Ha Giang Provincial Department of Health, and the contractor inspected the implementation of the project.

The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Van Giao, Director of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Health, and Phan Anh Hung, Secretary of Quan Ba ​​District Party Committee, along with leaders of Deo Ca Group, representatives of district departments and offices, and local people.

The 4-storey medical examination and treatment facility will cover a total area of 2,000m2. The project includes a gate, yard, front fence, landscape, and essential equipment. The project, which is being carried out by Deo Ca Group, is expected to be completed within 120 days.

The 30 billion VND project is a gift from Party General Secretary To Lam to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in Quan Ba District.

Upon completion, the medical examination and treatment facility of Quan Ba District General Hospital will contribute significantly to improving the quality of healthcare for people in the border district of Quan Ba.

Phan Anh Hung, Secretary of the District Party Committee, requested that the Deo Ca Group focus on mobilising machinery and workers to ensure the project's quality and progress and to prioritise safety. He urged the district People’s Committee to coordinate with the contractor to remove any obstacle facing the project’s implementation.

He also asked organisations and individuals to participate in the Tree Planting Festival to help build a green and clean environment.
