Celebrating a warm Tet in new homes
BHG - In the early days of the new spring, joy is being multiplied as nearly a hundred households in Quan Ba District which were affected by natural disasters can now celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year within their new, sturdy, and clean homes. This joy is the result of the care and support from the Party, the State, socio-political organisations, and the efforts of each family.
According to district statistics, five communes and nearly one hundred households are located in areas that are at risk of landslides. Identifying disaster response as an important and urgent task, the district’s authorities mobilised the joint effort and consensus of the entire political system. The district’s authorities have directed the urgent relocation of 64 households from communes in landslide-prone areas to safe locations and initiated the construction of new houses. The new houses welcome the people affected by floods to celebrate Tet with their relatives.
