The digital space brings hearts of compassion to Ha Giang

BHG - In recent years, the digital space has been expanded, bringing significant benefits to remote and disadvantaged areas, including Ha Giang. Agencies, organisations, and individuals have effectively conveyed information through platforms such as Facebook, Zalo, YouTube, and TikTok, helping to open doors that connect hearts of compassion to the northernmost region of the country. These contributions have had a positive impact on social welfare efforts, including building schools, durable homes and rural roads, and supporting those in difficult situations.

Notably, Hoang Hai, an official from the Ha Giang Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, has made use of social media to call on the community to donate blood, assist families affected by natural disasters, build schools, and replace temporary shelters with solid homes. Similarly, Nguyen Tat Thang, through his personal media channels, has attracted donations from philanthropists to build homes, construct roads, and provide medical aid for the local people. In Dong Van District, Sung Manh Hung has frequently used social networks to call for support from both domestic and international communities as well as celebrities, to help local people with livestock, lighting, and essential goods for the winter season.

Another notable example is Anh Tuyet, a member of the charity team from Hanoi, who has consistently supported Ha Giang through social media. Currently, she is sponsoring 400 million VND to build a rural road in Son Vi Commune, Meo Vac District. Thanks to this connection, many solid classrooms, houses, and other infrastructure projects have been built, contributing to easing the province’s social welfare burden.

The digital space has not only opened opportunities for connection but has also become an effective tool for promoting and mobilising resources for Ha Giang. The achievements so far have made a significant contribution to the social welfare goals outlined in the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. In the future, it is essential to continue leveraging the role of individuals and organisations in the digital space to call for support and companionship with Ha Giang in its socio-economic development and charitable efforts.
