Ha Giang-based student wins prize at national reading culture ambassador contest
BHG - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recently held an award ceremony to honour winners of the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest. A student from Ha GiangProvince brought home the consolation prize.

The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest was launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote the reading movement among the young generation and spread the love of reading, thus contributing to developing reading culture in schools and communities while helping to build a learning society in Vietnam.
In Ha Giang Province, the contest received enthusiastic responses from all levels, sectors and localities. After the preliminary round at the Provincial Library, the Organising Committee selected the six best entries with good quality and unique ideas to submit to the final national round.
Contestant Gia Mi Chung, a student of class 8A1, Can Chu Phin Boarding Secondary School, Meo Vac District, surpassed nearly 1.7 million entries nationwide to bag the consolation prize for his entry entitled ‘GioThuongPhung’ (Wind in ThuongPhung).
