Under the shadow of cherry blossom trees

10:11, 24/02/2025

BHG - Visitors to Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District during the New Year celebrations, will be attracted by the vibrant pink colour of cherry blossom trees against the cold weather.

For the border guards stationed at the Lung Cu Border Post, these cherry blossoms symbolise a close bond and pride in the land that they have worked day and night to protect. This is also the theme of a photo collection sent by journalist Dinh Phuc to Ha Giang Online Newspaper on the 66th anniversary of the Border Guard’s traditional day (March 3, 1959-2025) and the 36th anniversary of the All-People's Border Defence Day (March 3, 1989-2025).
