Strengthening cooperation and attracting investment from Chinese enterprises

On the morning of July 15, the Department of Finance of Tuyen Quang province chaired a working session with the delegation of Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group Co., Ltd. (China) to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities in the locality.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches, along with Vietnam Industrial Electromechanical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. - the unit connecting and promoting investment.

At the meeting, representatives of Tuyen Quang provided general information about the province's natural conditions, socio-economic potential, infrastructure system and investment attraction policies. After merging with Ha Giang province, the new province has an area of over 13,700 km², a population of nearly 1.8 million people, and is identified as a new growth pole of the midland and mountainous region of the North.

Tuyen Quang has many advantages to attract investors, including geographical location on the connecting corridor between the Northeastern and Northwestern provinces, an increasingly complete transportation system with highways connecting Hanoi - Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang; a large clean land fund; abundant labor resources, and competitive prices. The province also owns many mineral resources, raw material forests, potential for developing renewable energy and eco-tourism, and cultural-historical tourism.

The province is prioritizing investment attraction in key sectors such as processing and high-tech industries, construction materials production, energy, logistics infrastructure, urban development, and tourism. The provincial government is firmly committed to creating the most favorable conditions for businesses by offering preferential policies on taxation, land leasing, site clearance support, and comprehensive administrative reforms.

A representative of Shaanxi Construction and Installation Group Co., Ltd. (China) expressed strong interest in Tuyen Quang’s development orientation and noted the group’s focus on areas such as infrastructure development, industrial zones, social housing, and energy projects.
