New Spring 2025, Ha Giang makes firm steps on the path of development

BHG - As Spring 2025 knocks on the door, Ha Giang is coated in the bright colours of achievements and hopes. The year 2024 ended with many outstanding development achievements, creating a solid foundation for the coming years.

Ha Giang, the northernmost land, has not only resiliently overcome difficulties but is also rising strongly, becoming a bright spot in sustainable development.

In 2024, Ha Giang achieved 31/36 development goals, exceeding the plan. The local economic structure has shifted positively, with the strong development of high-tech agriculture and tourism.

Transport infrastructure received strong investment. Administrative reform and digital transformation have made significant progresses, while the investment and business environment is becoming increasingly attractive.

National defence and security is prioritised, ensuring a stable border and security.

In particular, poverty reduction and social security programmes have helped many households improve their lives.

Despite many positive results, Ha Giang still faces a number of challenges, such as unsynchronised transport infrastructure, natural disasters affecting agricultural production, and climate change causing difficulties for people's lives.

The quality of human resources has yet to meet the requirements of digital economic development and modern industry. Administrative reform still needs to be improved to further enhance efficiency.

2025 is of special importance, deciding the completion of the goals set by the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020–2025. This is also the year focusing on streamlining the organisation of the political system for more effective and efficient operation.

 Ha Giang will continue to develop its socio-economy and national defence and security towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The new year is the time for Ha Giang to set new goals and take concrete actions to realise its aspirations for development.

Unity is the key to helping Ha Giang overcome challenges and affirm its pioneering position. The achievements in 2024 provide a solid foundation for the province to continue to develop in a comprehensive manner.
