Ha Giang City builds smart city
BHG - To achieve the goal of becoming a smart city by 2045, Ha Giang City is focused on implementing solutions to improve infrastructure and promote digital transformation in various fields.
One of the priorities is to promote digital transformation in education, especially at Le Quy Don Secondary School. The school has implemented two important digital transformation contents: school administration and teaching organisation according to the "Paperless School" model, anddigitising 100% of records.
Smart classrooms have also been invested in, helping students access knowledge intuitively and develop their thinking through technology. The fingerprint scanning system for student attendance also helps connect teachers with parents, ensuring more effective supervision.
In addition to education, the city has deployed a traffic surveillance camera system at intersections, replacing traffic police in detecting violations.
Since April 1, 2024, the system has handled more than 2,800 traffic violations, helping to improve management efficiency and reduce the occurrence of accidents. In addition, the camera system also supports the police in detecting thefts, drug trafficking, and traffic accidents.
To build a smart city, Ha GiangCity continues to promote digital transformation in many areas, from social governance to daily life.
Projects such as building an Intelligent Operations Centre - IOC, deploying a city-wide camera surveillance system, and developing smart tourism and cashless payments at businesses, hotels, restaurants, are all being implemented.
New software and technology are also applied to serve transactions, communication and community connection.
With these solutions, Ha GiangCity is gradually perfecting its digital infrastructure, building a digital government and applying information technology in the fields of security, education and tourism. These efforts are helping the city transform strongly, towards the goal of becoming a smart city in the near future.
