Ha Giang ranks third among Northeast and Northwest provinces in attracting foreign visitors

BHG - According to statistics from Ha Giang Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province welcomed 1.690 million visitors in the first half of 2024, ranking 7th among 13 Northeast and Northwest provinces.

In particular, the number of international visitors to Ha Giang reached 222,883, placing it third among 13 Northeast and Northwest provinces, following Lao Cai and Hoa Binh.

The above figures highlighted, that despite challenges related to transportation, Ha Giang, with its allure, has drawn a significant number of tourists, ranking third among these 13 provinces in attracting foreign visitors. This achievement also proves Ha Giang's attractiveness to international tourists. In terms of total tourism revenue, in the first half of the year, Ha Giang ranked second among these 13 Northeast and Northwest provinces.

Overall, Ha Giang stood fourth in the total number of tourists and second in tourism revenue, among the eight provinces in the Northwest region, during the first six months of the year.
