Minh Huong gourd duck

Minh Huong gourd duck is a long-standing indigenous breed in Binh Xa commune. Raised along the Cham Chu stream and fed with a natural diet, the ducks have meat that is uniquely fragrant and delicious.

This duck breed has several distinctive features compared to others, including a round body, short neck, and short legs with wide webbed feet, all of which are adapted to its swimming habits and natural environment. An adult duck typically weighs between 1.8kg and 2.2kg.

Nowadays, Minh Huong gourd duck is developed by Minh Huong Gourd Duck Cooperative, and its products have been certified as a 3-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) specialty.
