Xin Man exports 36 tonnes of pickled radish to Japan

BHG - On March 24, the People's Committee of Xin Man District in collaboration with Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. exported a shipment of 36 tonnes of pickled radish to the Japanese market.

After more than four years of investment and coordination in radish cultivation, the programme has yielded positive results with the establishment of a stable raw material area in Xin Man District.

Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. and Xin Man District's functional departments implement packaging procedures for exporting pickled radish to the Japanese market.

As of early 2025, this marks the second time Xin Man has exported pickled radish, increasing the total export volume of Vietnam Misaki Co., Ltd. to 72 tonnes of pickled radish, equivalent to over 260 tonnes of fresh radish.

The export of Xin Man's pickled radish through official channels to the Japanese market reflects the efforts of the district's Party Committee and authorities in developing a value chain linkage model, creating jobs, and increasing farmers' income.

This helps farmers change their farming mindset, proactively applying scientific and technological advancements to production, contributing to improving livelihoods and sustainable poverty reduction in the area.
