Regarding cultivation, localities have actively introduced new crop varieties with high productivity and quality, promoted intensive farming, mechanisation, and changed the crop structure. The province has prioritised the development of key products such as Sanh oranges, Shan Tuyet tea, medicinal herbs, high-quality rice, buckwheat, yellow cows, black pigs and mint honey. At the same time, it focused on building concentrated production areas, exploiting geographical indications and producing according to quality standards to increase product value.

The provincial agricultural sector has implemented resolutions on developing commodity agriculture, investing in intensive farming, using advanced varieties and production processes and controlling input quality such as varieties, fertilisers, and pesticides, to improve productivity and product value. In addition, the province also sought stable consumption markets to ensure agricultural product output.

It is forecasted that in 2025, the weather will be mild, creating favourable conditions for agricultural production. The province will continue to improve product quality, focusing on crops with high added value and competitive advantages. Policies to support production linkages along the value chain, converting crops in areas without advantages to more efficient crops, applying high technology and organic production are promoted. The goal is to ensure food safety, adapt to climate change and aim for export.

Bac Quang is a key locality in agricultural production, focusing on exploiting potential by applying science and technology, promoting processing, preservation and promoting products. The district proactively sought consumption markets from the beginning of the season, implementing policies to support production and training skills for farmers to improve production efficiency.

The province set a target of 63.5 million VND/hectare in crop product value by 2025. Development solutions include identifying advantageous crops, forming concentrated commodity production areas and promoting winter crop production in the direction of linking consumption. Planning commodity production, attracting investment enterprises, applying technical advances and supporting the building of agricultural product brands are top priorities.

The structure of crops and seasons will be adjusted to reduce damage caused by natural disasters and epidemics.
