Two products from Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative re-awarded 5-star OCOP certification

BHG - Two tea products from Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative (Hoang Su Phi District) have been re-awarded the national 5-Star OCOP certification. The recognised products are 100g Green Tea and 100g Black Tea. The information was announced by the Coordination Office of the New-Style Rural Area Development Programme following the second 2024 session of the National Council for Product Evaluation and Classification under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme.

100g Black Tea from Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative has been re-awarded the national 5-Star OCOP certification.

These two products were first certified as 5-star OCOP on June 30, 2021. The cooperative has created these signature products from ancient Shan Tuyet tea buds utilising the traditional processing techniques of the Dao ethnic group. To enhance their uniqueness and competitive edge, the cooperative has prioritised preserving and leveraging the inherent value of the indigenous Shan Tuyet tea-growing areas to produce organic tea. This reaffirms the quality of these products and strengthens their position in both domestic and international markets.
