Quan Ba youth promote local agricultural produce
BHG - The Quan Ba District Youth Union has taken various measures to support farmers and young people in promoting and selling their agricultural produce.
Quan Ba has many OCOP products with three and four-star ratings, including several high-value agricultural products and foods produced using organic and safe methods.
The district youth union has organised product exhibitions at local cultural markets, helping farmers and cooperatives promote their clean products to consumers in and outside the province.

At these markets, the youth union chapters of each commune and town set up booths displaying at least 20 local products, such as honey, fruits, vegetables, and medicinal materials. Consumers can buy quality products with clear origins and reasonable prices.
In addition, there are activities such as art performances, communication about the national target programme, job referrals and propaganda against early marriage. These activities help people access information about agricultural products and the state’s support policies.
The events also promote startup products by young people, such as the Dao people’s bath potion, clean medicinal materials and agricultural products, helping consumers recognise and support local goods.
Chao Thi Lan of Cao Ma Po Commune shared her joy when her family’s traditional bath potion was widely advertised, bringing the opportunity for developing the business and preserving precious medicinal plants.
The markets connect production and consumption, promote clean and safe agricultural production and encourage farmers and enterprises to invest in sustainable agricultural production.
According to Vien Xuan Tung, Secretary of the Quan Ba Youth Union, these activities have helped increase incomes, contribute to local socio-economic development, help residents better understand poverty reduction policies, and effectively join the management of development programmes.
