Nam Dich strives to complete goals of new-style rural area building

BHG - With the advantage of convenient transportation due to being located on Provincial Road 177, connecting Bac Quang District with Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man districts, along with favourable conditions of soil, climate, and abundant human resources, Nam Dich Commune is one of the three communes included in the plan to complete goals of new-style rural area building in the 2020 - 2025 period of Hoang Su Phi District.

These days, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Nam Dich Commune are making efforts on the final stretch, striving to complete the criteria according to the set roadmap and plan.

The commune is facing some difficulties in the implementation process, such as the commune's low starting point, weak infrastructure, especially the traffic system, and complex terrain, while investment capital support from the Central and the province is still limited.

Mobilising internal resources is facing many difficulties, while many criteria require large funding sources, such as traffic criteria and electricity criteria.

To overcome difficulties, with the motto "Do easy things first", the Party Committee and the commune government have mobilised people to accompany the government in implementation.

Many households in the commune have voluntarily donated land to build roads, cultural houses and village headquarters.

The infrastructure system has been invested in and built more spaciously.Currently, all 14 villages have invested in building cultural houses. It is expected that from now until the end of 2024, Nam Dich Commune will continue to complete the traffic criteria to reach the milestone of completing 17 out of 19 criteria.

The remaining two criteria, including the one on poor households and income, will be focused on by the Party Committee and the commune government, to strive to complete in 2025.

As one of the communes with a large area, in addition to growing rice, Nam Dich Commune also has the advantage of tea trees, with a total area of ​​344 hectares currently being harvested and other resources, such as 70 hectares of cardamom trees, 10 hectares of medicinal plants, and 94.3 hectares of fruit trees.

In addition, the commune also promotes the development of service types, and encourages the development of private economic types, with the participation of four cooperatives and 63 individual businesses, exploiting the advantages of the commune cluster's central market service system, to improve and increase income.

From that result, it is believed that, although there are still many difficulties, with the efforts of the Party Committee, the commune government and the solidarity and consensus of all classes of people, Nam Dich Commune will achieve the goal of building a new rural area in 2025, according to the set plan.
