In five years, the province has invested and purchased equipment and machinery for ten key industries and professions, at the national level. The province's vocational education establishments have enrolled 62,197 people, increasing the rate of trained workers from 52.6% in 2019 to 58.8% in 2023.

From 2019 - 2023, total state budget revenue in the area will reach 11,921 billion VND, an average of 2,384 billion VND per year. The province's total social investment capital reached over 62,486 billion VND.

Of which, state investment capital reached 20,409 billion VND, accounting for 32.66%,investment capital from residents, private organisations and businesses is estimated at 35,488.54 billion VND,foreign direct investment capital is estimated at 85 billion VND, and other mobilised capital is estimated at over 6,503 billion VND.

Capital sources are prioritised, mobilised, distributed and used effectively, to focus on socio-economic infrastructure development, especially implementing key and important transportation projects of regional and inter-regional nature, with a pervasive role in socio-economic development.

With human resources, financial resources, potential advantages and material resources, the province's socio-economic infrastructure is opened up, and exploited to the maximum, contributing to promoting the highest efficiency such as:

28 types of metallic minerals with exploration reserves of over 100 million tons; 45 hydroelectric plants, annually contributing about 3,355 million kWh of electricity, with revenue of over 3,500 billion VND; 100% of urban areas across the province have infrastructure to ensure the provision of telecommunications and internet services; BinhVang Industrial Park with an area of ​​142 hectares and Thanh Thuy Border Gate Economic Zone with an area of ​​over 50 hectares, with a total of 68 registered projects, and total registered capital of nearly 4,700 billion VND.

The provincial economy is developing with many outstanding highlights such as the average GRDP growth rate during 2019 - 2023 reached about 4.89%.

The whole province has 35 more communes meeting standards for model new-style rural (bringing the total number of communes meeting standards for model new-style rural to 51 communes).

Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway has been implemented.

In 2023, import and export turnover reached 130 million USD. The province also welcomed three million tourists, an increase of 140% compared to 2020, total tourism revenue reached 7,050 billion VND.
